That’s a Wrap: Blundstone Canada Reflects on an Exciting Summer
As the warmer season winds down and the cool weather breezes in, Blundstone Canada gears up for a busy season of boots and changing leaves. It doesn’t stop us from reflecting on the amazing summer that passed and all the great events we got to be a part of.
From the New Farm in Creemore to Calgary Folk Fest, as far north as Yellowknife for Folk on the Rocks, Blundstone Canada had the opportunity to interact with customers across the country and share in the love of boots, music and community!
The heightened energy and excited patrons surrounding the entrance of each festival is inspiring. Each person is there for the same reason, to enjoy the music, the weather (rain or shine!), the food and the atmosphere.
Our boot-toss representative Shea told us about their success at the Calgary Folk Festival. “In the four days we shared stories and met new friends in the festival-goers, and raised over $1,200 for the Calgary Folk Music Festival non-profit organization. Neither Ashley or I had expected this level of generosity from the community, and found ourselves feeling very rewarded and successful on the last night of the festival, watching Bahamas on the mainstage.”
It’s clear the concept of community is very important to these festivals and attendees alike, and seeing the Blundstone tent set up at the annual events provides nostalgia for many volunteers and families. The kind words, and excitement at trying our classic boot-toss proves Blundstone holds a place in many hearts.
For some, these festivals act as an annual meeting ground for friends who live across the country, for others it’s just a simple tradition of great music, good food and amazing company.
Blundstone Canada was honoured to be included in this year’s events. Sponsoring giveaways and supporting the communities is something we are proud to be a part of. We are constantly inspired to see that our product is not limited to a particular age group, but is loved and adorned by all walks of life.
We couldn’t be happier to be with each Blundstone wearer, for every foot they travel.
