The Frank Brothers: Dedication, Quality and Timeless Style
Here at Blundstone Canada, we love quality and timeless style. Whether you’re out for a rip, grinding it on the construction site, or jamming with friends, Blundstone boots are versatile, comfortable, reliable, and built to last!
We are always excited to merge our love of good music and the great outdoors by kicking it at some of the many music festivals throughout Canada. That is why we couldn’t be more thrilled to announce our newest Brand Ambassadors, Frank Brother’s Guitar Company, Toronto-based guitar makers who share our philosophy of doing things right.
At Frank Brothers, luthiers Tim and Nick Frank craft the guitars while older brother Jon manages the business side of things. Working alongside the brothers are their friends Warren Spitz, Mark Kett, and Simon Outhit. Together this creative team of friends and family crafts handmade guitars by following the mantra “do one thing, and do it exceptionally well.” A Frank Brothers instrument is made to be an heirloom that can be passed down through family and future generations.
Frank Brothers guitars exceptional level of craftsmanship is catching the eye and ear of some of some amazing musicians like James Bay, Trevor Menear (on tour with Dawes), and fellow Canadian’s Mike DeAngelis (Arkells) and Daniel Romano. The guitars have made their way across North America and Europe on tours that have featured popular music festivals and some of the most famous stages like Nashville’s Ryman Auditorium and NYC’s Madison Square Garden.
Frank Brothers was first turned on to Blundstone boots when Tim’s roommate bought himself a new pair of boots and offered Tim his old pair. Tim was so impressed with Blundstone comfort that by the next day he had convinced the whole group to walk-the-walk in Blundstone boots. (Thanks, Tim!)
Strong values are a guiding force at Frank Brothers and their belief—no compromise on quality—is something we can relate to. Frank Brothers stand by their values in guitar making and stand in Blundstone boots while they’re doing it. Now that’s synergy!
And if you’re lucky enough to own one of the Frank Brother’s Signature Guitars, you’ll have some wicked walking music for every foot you travel!
